The Night Singing Sand Tourist Attraction
The Night Singing Sand Tourist Attraction is located in the Kubuqi Desert. It coordinates with the Shizhenyuan, Ordoa Grassland, Engebei and Seven-star Tourist Attraction afar.
Covering an area of 30 km2, the Night Singing Sand is a national AA tourist attraction, a comprehensive and charming tourist area in desert, combining desert views, grassland in desert, animals, plants, cross-desert road and Mongolian customs.
As the name suggests, “night singing sand” means the sand sounds when people walk on it at night or slide down from it. Except the mysterious sound, it also gives out light in the dark night. Thus there is a legend of “the noble came and the light appeared”. It is said that those who have seen the sacred light may get blessed by gods and maybe triumphant in the future.
